DevReels ऐप devpunya चलाता है। यह पन्ना साफ़-साफ़ बताता है कि हम आपकी कौन-सी जानकारी लेते हैं, क्यों लेते हैं, और उसका क्या करते हैं। जो नहीं लेते, वह भी लिखा है।
छोटी बात: हम आपकी जानकारी किसी को बेचते नहीं। जो लेते हैं वह ऐप चलाने के लिए है — पोस्ट पर आपका नाम छापने, पैसे का लेन-देन पूरा करने, और आपको त्योहार की याद दिलाने के लिए।
1. हम क्या जानकारी लेते हैं

ऊपर जो “नहीं” लिखा है, वह सच में आपकी मर्ज़ी है — बिना भरे भी ऐप पूरी चलती है। शुरुआत के हर सवाल पर “छोड़ें” का बटन है।
ख) ऐप अपने आप जो दर्ज करती है
- फ़ोन की जानकारी — फ़ोन का नमूना, बनाने वाली कंपनी, एंड्रॉयड या आईओएस का रूप, ऐप का रूप, भाषा और समय-क्षेत्र। इससे हमें पता चलता है कि किस फ़ोन पर ऐप टूट रही है।
- इस्तेमाल का हिसाब — कौन-सी पोस्ट देखी, क्या साझा किया, क्या सहेजा। इससे तय होता है कि आगे कैसी पोस्ट बनानी हैं।
- एक पहचान संख्या — हमारी अपनी बनाई हुई संख्या जो सिर्फ़ इसी ऐप में काम आती है। आईएमईआई जैसी फ़ोन की सरकारी पहचान हम कभी नहीं लेते।
- विज्ञापन संख्या (सिर्फ़ एंड्रॉयड) — गूगल की “Advertising ID”। यह सिर्फ़ इसलिए कि मेटा (फ़ेसबुक) बता सके कि हमारा कौन-सा विज्ञापन काम आया। आप इसे फ़ोन की सेटिंग से कभी भी बदल या मिटा सकते हैं — नीचे “मेटा के बारे में” देखिए। आईफ़ोन पर हम विज्ञापन-पहचान माँगते ही नहीं।
- इंस्टॉल कहाँ से हुआ — प्ले स्टोर ऐप लगाते वक़्त एक छोटी सी पर्ची देता है कि आप किस लिंक या विज्ञापन से आए (“install referrer”)। इसमें आपकी कोई निजी बात नहीं होती, बस विज्ञापन का नंबर।
ग) जो हम कभी नहीं लेते
- आपकी जगह — जीपीएस हम कभी नहीं माँगते
- आपकी संपर्क सूची या बात-चीत का ब्यौरा
- आपकी गैलरी की बाकी तस्वीरें — सिर्फ़ वही तस्वीर जो आप खुद चुनकर देते हैं
- आपके कार्ड या यूपीआई की जानकारी — वह सीधे रेज़रपे के पास जाती है, हमारे सर्वर पर कभी नहीं आती
2. तस्वीर का क्या होता है
आप जो तस्वीर चुनते हैं वह आपके फ़ोन में रहती है, और उसकी एक नकल हमारे सर्वर पर जाती है ताकि दूसरे फ़ोन पर खाता खोलने पर आपकी पहचान वापस मिल जाए। हम आपकी तस्वीर किसी और को नहीं दिखाते और न किसी विज्ञापन में इस्तेमाल करते हैं।
3. हम किनकी मदद लेते हैं

मेटा के बारे में थोड़ा और: आपका नंबर सीधे नहीं जाता। उसे पहले ऐसे बदल दिया जाता है कि वापस पढ़ा न जा सके। इससे मेटा यह तो बता पाता है कि विज्ञापन से कितने लोग आए, पर आपकी पहचान उसे नहीं मिलती।
वेबसाइट पर: मेटा का “पिक्सल” लगा है जो गिनता है कि कितने लोग पन्ना देखते हैं और
स्टोर का बटन दबाते हैं। इसके लिए दो कुकी बनती हैं — _fbp (ब्राउज़र की पहचान) और
_fbc (अगर आप मेटा के विज्ञापन से आए हों, उस क्लिक का नंबर)। यही गिनती हमारा सर्वर भी मेटा
को भेजता है, ताकि दोनों एक ही बात कहें।
ऐप के अंदर: मेटा का सॉफ़्टवेयर हिस्सा (SDK) लगा है। वह तीन काम करता है — ऐप खुलने और लगने की गिनती, मेटा की अपनी एक बेनाम संख्या, और एंड्रॉयड पर विज्ञापन संख्या। बाकी जानकारी (जैसे प्रीमियम लेना) हमारे सर्वर से जाती है, पैसे की पुष्टि होने के बाद — सीधे फ़ोन से नहीं। मेटा को आपका नाम, तस्वीर, संपर्क या जगह कभी नहीं मिलती।
मना करना हो तो:
- एंड्रॉयड — फ़ोन की सेटिंग → Google → सभी सेवाएँ → विज्ञापन (Ads) → “Delete advertising ID”। इसके बाद ऐप को कोई विज्ञापन संख्या नहीं मिलती। “Reset” से नई संख्या बन जाती है और पुरानी से नाता टूट जाता है।
- आईफ़ोन — हम विज्ञापन-पहचान (IDFA) माँगते ही नहीं, इसलिए कुछ करने की ज़रूरत नहीं।
- मेटा की तरफ़ से — फ़ेसबुक की विज्ञापन सेटिंग में “Activity information from ad partners” बंद कर सकते हैं।
- हमसे — support@devreels.in पर लिखिए, हम आपकी विज्ञापन से जुड़ी जानकारी अपने सर्वर से मिटा देंगे।
इनके अलावा हम आपकी जानकारी किसी को न बेचते हैं, न किराए पर देते हैं।
4. जानकारी कहाँ रखी जाती है
सारी जानकारी भारत में रहती है — मुंबई के ठिकाने में। जोड़ सुरक्षित तरीके से होता है, यानी बीच में कोई पढ़ नहीं सकता।
5. कितने दिन रखते हैं
- खाते की जानकारी — जब तक आपका खाता है
- इस्तेमाल का हिसाब — 12 महीने
- पैसे का ब्यौरा — 8 साल, क्योंकि भारत का कर कानून यही कहता है
6. आपके अधिकार
आप कभी भी कह सकते हैं कि —
- आपकी सारी जानकारी दिखाई जाए
- गलत जानकारी सुधारी जाए (ज़्यादातर चीज़ें ऐप में खुद बदल सकते हैं)
- खाता और सारी जानकारी मिटा दी जाए
इसके लिए support@devreels.in पर लिखिए। हम 30 दिन के अंदर पूरा करते हैं। खाता मिटाने पर पैसे का ब्यौरा रह जाता है — वह कानून की वजह से रखना पड़ता है।
ऐप से बाहर निकलने पर उस फ़ोन से आपकी पहचान, तस्वीर, पसंद और सहेजी हुई चीज़ें — सब हट जाती हैं।
7. बच्चों के लिए
यह ऐप 13 साल से कम उम्र के बच्चों के लिए नहीं है। अगर हमें पता चलता है कि किसी बच्चे की जानकारी आ गई है, तो हम उसे मिटा देते हैं।
8. यह पन्ना बदलने पर
कुछ बड़ा बदलेगा तो ऐप में बताएँगे। ऊपर लिखी तारीख से पता चलता है कि आखिरी बार कब बदला।

The DevReels app is run by devpunya. This page states plainly what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. What we never collect is written here too.
In short: we do not sell your data to anyone. What we collect is what running the app needs — printing your name on posts, completing payments, and reminding you about festivals.
1. What we collect

Everything marked “No” really is optional — the app works fully without it. Every onboarding question has a “Skip” button.
b) What the app records on its own
- Device information — phone model, manufacturer, Android or iOS version, app version, language and time zone. This tells us which phones the app is breaking on.
- Usage — which posts you viewed, shared and downloaded. This decides what kind of posts we make next.
- An install ID — a number of our own that works only inside this app. We never take hardware identity like the IMEI.
- Advertising ID (Android only) — Google's “Advertising ID”. Collected only so that Meta (Facebook) can tell which of our ads worked. You can reset or delete it from your phone's settings at any time — see “About Meta” below. On iPhone we never ask for the advertising identifier.
- Where the install came from — when the app is installed, Google Play hands it a short note saying which link or ad you came from (the “install referrer”). It carries nothing personal, only the ad's reference number.
c) What we never collect
- your location — we never ask for GPS
- your contact list or call records
- the rest of your gallery — only the photo you pick yourself
- your card or UPI details — those go straight to Razorpay and never reach our servers
2. What happens to your photo
The photo you choose stays on your phone, and a copy goes to our server so that your profile comes back when you log in on another phone. We do not show your photo to anyone else and we do not use it in any advertising.

About Meta — on the website: a Meta “pixel” counts how many people view the page
and tap the store button. It sets two cookies — _fbp (a browser ID) and
_fbc (if you arrived from a Meta ad, that click's reference). Our server reports the
same counts to Meta so that both sides agree.
In the app: the Meta SDK is included. It does three things — counts app installs and opens, keeps Meta's own anonymous ID, and reads the advertising ID on Android. Everything else (such as taking Premium) is reported by our server after the payment is confirmed — not from your phone. Meta never receives your name, photo, contacts or location.
To opt out:
- Android — Settings → Google → All services → Ads → “Delete advertising ID”. After that the app receives no advertising ID at all. “Reset” gives you a new one and breaks the link with the old.
- iPhone — we never request the advertising identifier (IDFA), so there is nothing to turn off.
- On Meta's side — in Facebook's ad settings you can turn off “Activity information from ad partners”.
- With us — write to support@devreels.in and we will delete the advertising-related data we hold about you.
Apart from these, we neither sell nor rent your data to anyone.
4. Where the data is kept
All of it stays in India — in the AWS Mumbai (ap-south-1) data centre. The connection is over HTTPS, so nobody in between can read it.
5. How long we keep it
- Account details — as long as your account exists
- Usage records — 12 months
- Payment records — 8 years, because Indian tax law requires it
6. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to —
- show you all your data
- correct anything wrong (most of it you can change inside the app yourself)
- delete your account and all your data
Write to support@devreels.in for this. We complete it within 30 days. Payment records remain even after deletion — the law requires us to keep them.
Logging out removes your profile, photo, preferences and downloads from that phone.
7. Children
This app is not for children under 13. If we learn that a child's data has reached us, we delete it.
8. Changes to this page
If something significant changes, we will say so in the app. The date at the top tells you when it last changed.
